Finance Manager at I Change Association

Overview

From September 2018 to September 2020, I had the opportunity to serve as the Finance Manager at I Change Association, an organization dedicated to fostering collaboration between young doctors and engineers to contribute to societal development. In addition, the association focuses heavily on mentoring students and supporting them in building their academic and professional paths.

My Role

As Finance Manager, I was responsible for:

  • Managing the association’s financial resources,
  • Collecting and securing donations to support our initiatives,
  • Preparing clear and detailed financial reports to ensure transparency and enable strategic planning.

Through this role, I strengthened my skills in financial management while actively contributing to the success of our projects.

Key Activities and Contributions

Throughout my time with I Change, I contributed to several impactful projects, including:

✔️ “Choose My Path” Workshop

Firstly, I participated in organizing this workshop, which guided students who had just passed their Baccalaureate exams. The goal was to help them align their academic choices with their personal strengths and the evolving demands of the job market.

✔️ Artificial Intelligence Workshop

Secondly, we conducted a scientific workshop, led by Engineer Marouane Zouinkhi in collaboration with the Mohamed Ali Youth Center in El Hamma. This initiative aimed to make advanced technological concepts accessible to high school students by introducing them to the world of Artificial Intelligence.

✔️ “Lamma I Change” Meeting

Moreover, I actively participated in this strategic meeting where members of the association came together to define our objectives, discuss our vision, and plan actionable steps for future growth.

✔️ Communication Skills Workshop (French and English)

Additionally, we organized workshops focused on enhancing students’ communication abilities in French and English. This initiative was delivered in partnership with the “Tawasul Association” and the “Association for People with Physical Disabilities” in El Hamma, ensuring a broader social impact.

What I Gained

As a result of this volunteering experience, I developed not only my financial management skills but also my leadership, event organization, and community engagement abilities. More importantly, it reinforced my commitment to mentoring young people and contributing positively to society.
